Just a 3 mile drive from the Lake District National Park, the variety of scenery and opportunities in our area are endless. In the Lake District we are lucky to enjoy an outstanding array of bird life with occasional glimpses of hedgehogs and red squirrels. Laal Yan is no exception, our village is a fantastic habitat for endless species of animals. It is not rare to see a hedgehog, bird of prey, otter or red squirrel along our paths or hedgerows.
